Megan “The Cartoonist” Jurek is a freshman at Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio, where she is an Irish Scholar and a member of the National Art Honor Society. This is the fourth children’s book she has illustrated. Her cartoons appear on the Kid Scoop page of the Toledo Blade every Monday, and in her school newspaper. In 2015, she had the honor of becoming the youngest person to sign a hotdog bun at Toledo’s famous Tony Packo’s restaurant.
